Guide · Rotate PDF
Fix the orientation of a scanned PDF
A document fed into the scanner the wrong way, or a phone scan saved in landscape, gives a PDF you have to read with your head tilted. Rotating the file fixes it for good, without scanning again.
Steps
- 1
Open PDFly's Rotate PDF tool and drop the scanned PDF.
- 2
Pick the correction: 90° clockwise if the text runs from bottom to top, 90° counter-clockwise if it runs from top to bottom, 180° if the page is upside down.
- 3
Leave Pages to rotate empty to turn every page, or type only the sideways ones (for example 2, 5-6). Then click Run.
- 4
Download the result and open it to check. If it's still wrong, rotate the corrected file again.
