Guide · Split PDF
Separate the odd and even pages of a PDF
To print double-sided on a single-sided printer, or to handle the fronts and backs of a scanned document separately, you need the odd pages in one file and the even pages in another. PDFly has no automatic odd/even option yet, but for documents of a few dozen pages the page list does the job.
Steps
- 1
Drop the PDF into PDFly's Split PDF tool and check its page count.
- 2
Type the odd pages separated by commas (1, 3, 5, 7, 9…), click Run and download the result.
- 3
Click Start over, drop the same PDF and type the even pages (2, 4, 6, 8…).
- 4
Click Run and download the second file. You now have the odd and even pages as two PDFs.
