Reduce the margins of a PDF before printing
Printing a PDF with big margins gives small text in the middle of the sheet. By cropping the margins and then printing with fit-to-page, the content fills more of the page and becomes easier to read.
Steps
- 1
Drop the PDF into PDFly's Crop PDF tool.
- 2
Reduce each side by a few percent, for example 5 to 8%, without touching the text.
- 3
Click Run and download the result.
- 4
In the print dialog, choose fit to page (or fit to printable area) so the cropped page is enlarged to fill the sheet.
