Extract the text of a PDF into a Word document
To reuse the text of a PDF, the simplest case is a PDF created from a text document: you can already select and copy its text. A scanned PDF only contains pictures of text and needs OCR first. PDFly's PDF to Word and OCR tools are in development and will be free.
